Before setting up the centre, Marion had an extensive 25-year career in education, teaching English at a North London Further Education College.

One of Marion’s most satisfying roles was delivering bespoke one to one dyslexia support, demonstrating the value of tuition and how lifechanging it can be in unlocking potential. This belief was re-enforced during visits to international literacy programmes in Peru and Bolivia, witnessing
first-hand how effective small interventions of individual learning can be. 

The agency was founded on the ethos, based on experience, that tailored tuition by a skilled tutor at a critical stage in a child’s school career,
can be transformative and set them on a path to greater success, whether in improving confidence or passing exams. 

Establishing the tuition agency was immensely rewarding and was only fully accomplished with the help of a strong team of professional, experienced and dedicated tutors. Cherry Tree Tuition Centre is now a thriving agency with an excellent reputation in the local community in helping children achieve their goals. 

Marion takes a personal interest in overseeing the academic progress and wellbeing of each child and working to maintain close relationships with families. It is especially rewarding to see families returning with second and third siblings and new parents getting in touch from word-of-mouth recommendations.

Marion is delighted to play an active role in the community where she saw her own children grow up and be educated.
